For centuries a small group of select individuals have been entrusted with the ultimate secret, one they pass on through a series of tests and challenges - and one they must protect with their lives.
The common Oak Tree that can be found on almost every continent in the world has a secret history known only to the most senior researchers within the Department of Lost Miniatures, it’s a heavily guarded piece of information.
You see, once every so often an Oak tree will carry a very special acorn, a golden acorn, that if successfully grown will mature into a talking, if not slightly grumpy, Tree.
They live for centuries, and inherit all the knowledge of there ancestors instantly.
what they learn, they pass on.
The Department of Lost Minitures by our coincidence became the guardians of these unique and special trees and with that the responsibility to ensure they are kept secret, safe and most of all, happy!
These young trees are potted in a magically expanding pot which naturally provides them with all the nutrients and food they need, but also acting as a sort of reflector, this ensure the trees, over great distance can always communicate with one another.
Very rare and limited, these saplings stand 10 cm tall on a 3cm tall copper, riveted pot.
Complete with some happy fungi and forest moss and one abandoned birds nest.
While they may be sleeping, and always tired - never doubt that they are always listening!
